The Amana package terminal air conditioners (PTACs) have energy efficiency ratios of up to 12.8. The Bent Coil Technology is designed to increase the primary and secondary air surface on the coils. According to the company, more primary coil surface equates to lower system operating temperatures, longer compressor life, better condensate dispersion, and sustainable high efficiencies. Features of the unit include a nine-blade, forward-curved condenser fan and a new one-piece pullout filter. Optional charcoal filters are available for odor absorption.
