Air Comfort Opens Second Office In Northwest Indiana
The additional space will provide office space for personnel, as well as warehouse space for storage of parts and tools to help support the field technicians.
Founded in 1935, Air Comfort began as an engineering company and equipment distributor for Dr. Willis Carrier's air conditioning products. The company now employs more than 100 people as a full-service HVAC contractor specializing in the design and installation of new equipment, retrofits of existing systems, maintenance programs, and emergency service. Air Comfort recently celebrated its sixth anniversary as a member of The Unified Group. A member since 1998, Air Comfort was one of a core group of HVAC mechanical contractors who founded the organization.
The Unified Group is an alliance of independently owned mechanical contractors. The group has four guiding principles: the sharing of best practices among members, the prospect for business opportunities in the form of national and regional accounts, training and education programs, and purchasing partnerships with vendors.
