DeltaWarm DW floor warming cables are designed for residential and commercial applications. It is 1/10 of an inch thick and will not raise the floor height significantly. The cable is made of flexible stranded resistance wires, covered by an inner thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation; a durable copper braid serving as a ground path; and a TPE overjacket. DW cable output produces a watt density of approximately 12-15 watts per square foot when installed on 2-3-inch centers (nominal). Power leads are fully armored. The new ClipStrip attachment strip requires less labor than the previous clip method, while still allowing installers the flexibility they had with the FW cable, said the manufacturer. The DeltaWarm Quick Installation Guide graphically details the seven steps to installing the DW cable and thermostat. A full set of installation instructions is also included with the cable to provide installers with more information if required.
