VALHALLA, N.Y. — The Southern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) has announced that it is ready to offer a new 300-hour HVAC training program to meet the workforce needs of local contractors. BOCES needs a part-time teacher for the program.

The part-time position is available immediately. The course title is “Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating.” The position involves training adults in the skills necessary for employment in the HVACR field.

Qualifications are a minimum of 10 years experience in the HVACR industry as a licensed mechanic with EPA universal certification. Previous teaching or staff training experience would be a plus.
