Low-profile package chillers in the RT Series can be built as straight chillers or they can be ordered with an optional internal tank and pump built into a single horizontal cabinet. Units are available in sizes from 1.5 to 5 tons. Because it has a maximum height of 42 inches, the chiller can be installed on a roof out of sight. The low profile helps stabilize the chiller during high winds or earthquakes, states the company. The chiller also can be installed on ground level. It has a factory-tested 24-V control system. Other standard features include a digital controller, flow switch, and high-efficiency evaporator. Many models are expandable, allowing for staging and redundancy.
