In the training video “HVAC/R Electrical Systems Trouble-shooting: Deciding Where to Begin,” a number of troubleshooting scenarios are presented. A common-sense approach on deciding where to begin when tracking down the source of a problem in an HVACR electrical system is discussed. Some of the problem situations shown deal with a package unit that’s “not cooling,” a reach-in refrigerator that’s “not working like it should,” and a heat pump that’s “not running.” This video is one in a 10-part HVAC/R Technician Training Series on troubleshooting residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and commercial refrigeration equipment.
