The Vibro-Curb rooftop unit curb has integral vibration-dampening spring isolators that can be accessed easily, says the company. The flexible 8-inch counter flashing provides a weather seal. According to the manufacturer, roofing around spring access ports isn't required. A 2 x 2 wood nailer is provided for attaching roofing felts. The units are custom sized and spaced to accommodate the rooftop unit's weight and center of gravity for optimum vibration dampening, states the company. Vertical limit stops eliminate excessive movement caused by wind loads and seismic activity, the company says.
