The Anti-Mold Enviro-Stac® fancoil mitigates mold growth in hotel and residential spaces, says the company. A motorized coil bypass damper is designed to work in conjunction with fan speed control to increase dehumidification at part-load conditions and more closely match cooling capacity to the room load during off-peak operation. Reheat control is available for dehumidification in extreme climates. Elastomeric closed-cell foam insulation inhibits moisture absorption and organic dust adhesion, the company says. According to the manufacturer, deep-loading synthetic media filtration protects both the coil and the coil bypass air from airborne contaminants. Easily removable coils and piping packages facilitate cleaning outside of the unit, the manufacturer states.
