United Technologies Corp. (UTC) (Hartford, CT) has named Geraud Darnis as the president of Carrier Corp. (Syracuse, NY) following the resignation of Jonathan W. Ayers. Darnis was formerly the head of UTC’s power group.
York International Corp. (Norman, OK) has named I.D. Booth (Elmira, NY) as a distibutor of the Luxaire brand of heating and air conditioning equipment in the Twin Tiers region of New York and Pennsylvania. The company has also named four New York distributors of Pameco Corp. (Golden, CO) to handle the Luxaire brand in upstate New York.
International Comfort Products (ICP) (Lewisburg, TN) has appointed Pete Gasiewicz as vice president of sales. Gasiewicz named five members of his staff to new positions. They include: J.T. Holtschlag (general sales manager, eastern division), Lee Prindle (general sales manager, western division), Steven da Silva (general manager, Canadian sales), Colin Perkins (manager, international sales), and Jason Skinner (manager, business development).
