SARASOTA, Fla. — VenVest Incorporated recently purchased four HVAC businesses operating under Union Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of EPCOR Energy Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Financial details of the sale were not released.

To effectuate the purchase, VenVest has created a new joint venture company called AirTime Canada ULC, with Vaughn Goettler, previously the president of Union Energy, who will serve as CEO, and Bruce Cook, previously the COO of Union Energy, will be AirTime Canada’s president and COO.

The four businesses that are now part of AirTime Canada ULC are: Boonstra Residential Heating and Cooling (Hamilton, Ontario), Mr. Furnace (St. Catharines, Ontario), 21 Degrees (Kingston, Ontario), and Furnasman (Winnipeg, Manitoba). The combined sales of the four residential businesses is approximately $24 million (Canadian).
