LANSING, MI — R.F.B. Home Builders of Holly, MI, was recently recognized as one of only five builders in Michigan to receive a Five Star Home Grant to build an energy-efficient house. The Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services presented Five Star Grants of up to $8,000 to the builders in early March 2002.
Michigan builders compete for grants based on energy efficiency, marketing plans, and innovations. Other Michigan companies receiving grants were Coulter Builders, LLC; Country Construction, Inc.; Pant Builders, Inc.; and Walloon Lake Properties, LLC.
