The Trane Co. (St. Paul, MN) has introduced its Delivered Integrated Comfort™ Systems (ICS). The systems are pre-engineered, pre-configured comfort systems designed for low-rise office buildings, light manufacturing facilities, and other unitary HVAC applications. Bradford White Corp. (Ambler, Pa), a manufacturer of water heating equipment, announced that it has purchased Niles Steel Tank Co. (Niles, MI). The newly acquired firm will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Bradford White Corp.

Terex Corp. (Westport, CT) announced that it has signed an agreement and plan of merger with Genie Holdings, Inc. (Redmond, WA), a global manufacturer of aerial work platforms. Terex is a global manufacturer of equipment for industries including construction, infrastructure, utility, and maintenance.

Bronz-Glow Technologies Inc. (St. Augustine FL), a producer of protective coil coatings, has joined forces with Equiguard Inc. (Willowbrook, IL), a provider of HVACR extended service agreements. Bronz-Glow’s “Ultima” expanded coil warranty is now administered by Equiguard.

Danaher Corp. (Richmond, VA) has appointed Kurt Gallo as president of Danaher Power Solutions. Gallo will continue as vice president and general manager of Enterprise Group until a replacement is announced.

Johnson Controls Inc. (Milwaukee, WI) has named Setra Systems Inc. (Boxborough, MA) as its Systems Products Supplier of the Year.

A.O. Smith Electrical Products Co. (Tipp City, OH) has developed the Century® Integral Motors poster. The poster is a quick reference guide for EASA motor shops and features the E-Plus® and E-Plus3® open drip-proof and totally enclosed-fan cooled motors from 1-to-30 horsepower. Posters can be obtained by contacting a local A.O. Smith sales representative.

The Dwyer Group (Waco, TX) will hold its annual reunion on July 29-31, 2002, at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV. Keynote speaker for the event will be former major-league baseball player Jim Morris. Morris fulfilled his dream to pitch in the major leagues at age 35, and his life is the basis of the movie “The Rookie.”

Alfa Laval (Warminster, PA) has established its new Help Desk. The service allows Alfa Laval customers to speak directly to a member of the company’s technical support staff and receive information on all products and relevant applications, including heat exchangers, separators, and decanters.
