The Modular Chiller Series, available in 30- and 50-ton capacities, measure 29-1/2 in. in width, thus permitting them to enter and exit through existing equipment room doors and into standard passenger elevators. These chillers are designed to be field-coupled for applications of up to 400 tons. Though the modular chiller system works as a single unit, each module can be isolated to ensure uninterrupted operation, says the manufacturer.
