RD Cox Corp., based in LaGrange with offices in Huntsville and Montgomery, AL, specializes in the design, construction, and service of heating and cooling systems. The company also provides air and water balancing, and sheet metal fabrication, among other services.

According to a release from The Unified Group, its purpose "is to provide shared training opportunities, negotiate purchasing arrangements as a group, pursue national and regional business opportunities, and provide forums for information exchange and sharing of best practices."
