The Falcon monitoring device inter-faces with temperature, pressure, flow, current, and humidity sensors, or any other dry contact, 0-5V, 0-10V, or 4-20mA inputs, then alerts users of alarm conditions. It can also control site equipment via alarm relay outputs. This monitoring device is now Web-enabled, which permits users to check equipment and site status via the Internet with any standard Web browser. It accepts a graphic from any IP-addressable Web camera, providing a live view of the site. Because the Falcon hosts its own Web pages, neither extra software nor a host PC is required, says the company.
