ARLINGTON, VA — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has already scheduled its 2003 Annual Conference. The theme of the event is “Out of the Comfort Zone,” and will take place March 12-15, 2003, at the Wyndham Palm Springs in Palm Springs, CA.

“Hvacr contractors all over the country are confronting new challenges and a rapidly changing business environment,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and ceo. “The contractors who succeed in the 21st century will be those who move out of their comfort zones, take risks, and expand into new markets and new technologies.”

According to the association, a key component of the conference will be the unveiling of ACCA’s “Future Strategies Report,” which is being developed by a panel convened by ACCA 2002-2003 chairman Jim Hussey. The panel, chaired by contractor Greg Leisgang, is exploring the forces that will impact contractors over the next five years and developing common-sense recommendations for contractors to position themselves for the future.
