The Trane Company (La Crosse, WI) has entered into a strategic alliance with Sure Power Corp. Through the partnership, Trane will provide hvac systems for Sure Power’s patent-pending systems.
Multiaqua, Inc. (Miramar, FL) has announced an agreement with Benoist Co., Inc. and Long Building Tech-nologies. Benoist and Long will develop the market in separate regions for Multiaqua’s 3-, 4-, and 5-ton self-contained, air-cooled chiller systems and matching mini-split-style and central ducted fancoils through sales to wholesale distribution and the plan-spec market.
Tecumseh Products Co. (Tecumseh, MI) has announced the appointment of David W. Kay as vice president, treasurer, and chief financial officer. Michael R. Forman has also been appointed as vice president and director of human resources.
Engineered Support Solutions, Inc. (St. Louis, MO) has received a $1.2 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract from the U.S. Army to develop, build, and test prototypes for the next generation of U.S. Army air conditioners.
