Adalet: FLAME ARRESTOR FITTINGS

The company’s XFAX2 stainless steel flame arrestor fittings are designed to prevent flame propagation through tubing systems connected to explosion-proof electrical enclosures, says the manufacturer. The fittings provide connections for electro/pneumatic and gas analysis devices, with a 1¼2-in. National Pipe Thread (NPT) male thread used to mount the XFAX2 in the enclosure wall, and 1/4-in. NPT female threads on both ends, so commercial tubing fittings can be easily installed, according to the company.
