The company has added the Performance PlusT air conditioning series to its line of residential air conditioning units. The units have a base 12-SEER rating and can provide efficiencies up to 14 SEER when matched with a Luxaire variable-speed furnace, the company says. Available in capacities ranging from 11¿to 5 tons of cooling, units are designed with rippled coil fins, a fancoil guard, rubber compressor mounts, and a compressor blanket that contributes to sound levels as low as 70 dB, says the manufacturer.
