Florida Contractor Launches Food Drive
S. I. Goldman Co. Inc./Comfort Systems USA completed its fifth annual Cool Food drive with donations of 1,949 lbs of food and a check for $1,000, which it presented to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Over 200 employees of the Longwood, FL-based mechanical contractor, which has construction sites throughout the state, collected the food during a month-long drive."We began this food drive five years ago because it gave each member of our staff the opportunity of participating according to their means of helping out those less fortunate within our own community," said John Martin, president and CEO.
