LITTLE ROCK, AR — Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee honored Scroll Technologies with the Governor’s Quality Award at the 7th annual Arkansas Quality Award Celebration. It was Scroll’s second major award in two years, having been recognized nationally in 1999 by Industry Week magazine as one of North America’s “10 Best Plants.”

The Arkansas Quality Award program was created through a special partnership between the state of Arkansas and the private business community. Nominees for the program were judged on performance metrics and practices in categories including leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, information and analysis, human resource focus, process management, and business results.

“This award process has been designed to promote the use of quality management principles,” said Scroll’s general manager Rick Izor. “For me personally, it is a wonderful opportunity to show special recognition for a unique team of hard working people at our plant in Arkadelphia. This is really their success story.”
