McLEAN, VA — North American Technician Excellence (NATE) will officially launch its Consumer-Contractor-Connection (C3) on August 1, 2001. C3 is an online referral service that identifies contractors who employ NATE-certified technicians.

There is no charge for a listing, but contractors need to complete a response form in order to be included.

“Consumers often call after a news release or radio spot about NATE runs. Consumers all want to know ‘How do I get a NATE–certified technician?’ This website streamlines the referral process and gives consumers a list of businesses in their area with NATE-certified technicians,” said Rex Boynton, president of NATE.
