ACCA Opens Award Nominations
ARLINGTON, VA — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has opened the nomination process for its 2002 Awards Program. ACCA will honor companies in four categories.
The Commercial Excellence Award is presented to companies that demonstrate significant achievement and success in commercial-industrial hvacr contracting. Two awards will be given: one for companies with annual revenues of $4 million or less, and one for companies with annual revenues greater than $4 million.
The Residential Excellence Award will be given to companies that demonstrate excellence and success in the area of residential hvacr contracting. One award is presented to a company with annual revenues of $1 million or less, and one to a company of annual revenues greater than $1 million.
The Training Excellence Award will be presented to a company that has championed education and training initiatives, and has made outstanding progress in raising the hvacr industry’s professional standards.
The Spirit of Independence Award is given each year to an individual who has made significant and lasting contributions to the strength, success, and independence of the hvacr contracting industry.
Nomination forms were sent to all ACCA contractor members and are also available at www.acca.org (website).
