Home » North Texas ACCA Chapter To Help Build Habitat for Humanity Homes
ARLINGTON, TX — The North Texas Chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America has volunteered to install the hvac systems in three Habitat for Humanity homes. The homes will be constructed in the parking lot of the ballpark at Arlington and transferred to lots at a later time.
Josh Kahn, of Kahn Mechanical, Dallas, has volunteered the labor and equipment for one home and expects other fellow chapter members to help out on the other two homes.
Entitled the “Triple Play” project, the construction will take place the week of Nov. 5-12, beginning with the floor systems. Over 850 volunteers will work two shifts a day to build the homes for families in Denton, McKinney, and Fort Worth.
