The Eco Multi air conditioning system makes it possible to connect multiple indoor evaporator units with up to 135% of the outdoor condensing unit’s maximum capacity, says the manufacturer. The Eco Multi uses both a standard compressor as well as a dual-cylinder power control com-pressor. The twin-compressor design responds to require-ments in capacity by modulating the output of the compressor by using an external bypass valve; incremental operating capacity adjustments are implemented using a 16-bit microprocessor, ensuring a more stable room temperature, says the company. The Eco Multi system is suitable for commercial applications, with an emphasis on the renovation of older buildings.
