The company says its VCD Series of commercial volume-control dampers is uniquely designed for underfloor air distribution (UFAD). The company says the dampers use a variable-symmetrical-blade (VSB) design and a low-profile head and sill to maximize free area and reduce pressure loss on dampers used for UFAD. According to the manufacturer, the VSB design ensures performance characteristics are independent of airflow direction, allowing for flexible installation. All models are available on a next-day shipment program.
