The Ashcroft® commercial refrigeration gauge line has been expanded to include 80-mm-dia gauges. Most manifold gauges are 21¼2 in. dia. This new, larger size provides better readability, the company says, especially when multiple scale dials are used. The steel-case gauges are color-coded, red for high pressure and blue for low pressure. The type 1005 gauge has a threaded polycarbonate window, allowing technicians easier access for minor adjustments.
