Danfoss Acquires Energy Controls International
ECI will be merged into the existing Danfoss Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Division.
The Danfoss Supermarket Business Unit, now combined with ECI and recently purchased Woodley Electronics Ltd. of Great Britain, hopes to increase its market share of control and monitoring products and services for the supermarket industry.
The ECI product line will continue to be produced by Danfoss, as will the Danfoss AKCESS and ADAP-KOOL® lines of control products.
In addition, development of a new line of products is currently being designed, based on new technology and building on the ECI, Woodley, and Danfoss product lines.
