The 401 and 411 are upgraded, redesigned noncontact handheld infrared thermometers. Both come with laser sighting to help accelerate temperature auditing and maintenance functions, says the company. The 401 sighting is a single-point beam, while the 411 features an eight-point circular sight for higher accuracy. Temperature ranges and distance to spot ratios (D:S) have increased by 20%, allowing use on wider spread applications, the company says. Temperature range on the 401 is –25°F to 750°F and the 411 is –25° to 950°, while the D:S is now 12:1 for both.
