WAUKEGAN, IL — Yaskawa Electric America, Inc., and Saftronics Inc. have decided to discontinue their brand-label agreement, after which Saftronics will continue to conditionally access and sell Yaskawa’s current line of variable-frequency drives into 2002.
At the conclusion of the phaseout period, Yaskawa will supply products to Saftronics under the Yaskawa brand name and Saftronics will continue to service and support the Yaskawa product line and provide spare parts through its national network of system integration centers.
