ATLANTA, GA — The heating and cooling equipment rental corporation, Servidyne, based here, has been purchased by Chiller Rental Services (CRS) of the United Kingdom.

This development will see the company expand its presence in the outdoor entertainment sector, and continue as a leading provider of equipment in the 1 Ton/3kW to 1000 ton/3mW output range, servicing the building services, process, and manufacturing markets.

Don Schrampfer, vice president of Servidyne, said, “The acquisition makes perfect sense for both companies, since it allows CRS to gain a foothold in the fast-expanding U.S. market whilst placing a much wider range of services at the disposal of Servidne’s customers.”
