Vac System Industries: insulation repair

“Tough-Coat” mechanical insulation repair coating is formulated with EPA-registered preservatives for use in hvac systems. The preservatives are designed to protect the coating from microbial growth. The coating enhances and repairs mechanical insulation, both duct liner and ductboard, found in air handlers, rooftop units, vav boxes, ductwork, etc., says the company. This ability to repair damaged insulation can result in significant savings compared to removing and relining, or replacing the ductwork, the company says.
