“Tempstar” SmartComfort 2400 Series air conditioners are ultra-high-efficiency, split-system units that can achieve 15 SEER when matched with appropriate coils and blowers, the manufacturer says. Available in capacities from 2 through 5 tons, the condensing units feature the Durawhisper™ top, to direct discharge air and sound away from the house. Scroll compressors and two-speed fan motors also produce minimal sound. Compressors are covered by a 10-year warranty.
