Apogee™ building automation systems can now communicate with both BACnet® and OPC® systems and devices through a single operator workstation, using Insight® 3.2 software. This provides two additional open-system options to meet system communication needs. The BACnet option enables users to monitor, command, and receive alarm information about BACnet devices. The OPC Server communication option allows access to point information and provides transmission of real-time data over Ethernet to third-party workstations and applications.
