DSG-Canusa: duct tape

Canusa® DV tape is an adhesive-lined, heat shrinkable tape designed for sealing joints on ducts. The tape offers excellent adhesion to galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel surfaces, says the company. It eliminates air leakage in vacuum and ventilation systems and seals against moisture entry and other forms of contamination. The seal is said to provide resistance to bending, vibrations, and other mechanical stresses over a wide operating temperature range, the company says. The tape is available in 2-, 3-, and 4-in. widths to seal ducts ranging from 2- to 60-in. dia.
