Home » Price Increases for the Week: The Trane Company, Alfa Laval and Ruskin Manufacturing
The Trane Company (La Crosse, WI) announces a price increase of 3% to 10% on heating/cooling coils and selected variable air volume (VAV) units and controls. The price increases are effective immediately.
Alfa Laval (Richmond, VA) warns contractors and dealers that a 3% price increase on gasketed plate heat exchangers and a 6% price increase on brazed plate heat exchangers will take effect immediately. Prices have increased due to significant increases in raw material costs for stainless steel.
Ruskin Manufacturing (Kansas City, MO) announces that a price increase of 2.5% on all products will take effect on all orders quoted after Jan. 1, 2001. The company, which manufactures a complete line of commercial and industrial control dampers, fire/smoke dampers, louvers, and grilles for the hvac and architectural market, says this increase is directly related to increases in the areas of freight and labor.
