The Model TBI tubeaxial inline fan is now approved by UL for use in high-temperature and emergency smoke applications. With its roof upblast companion, the Model TBIRU, both are available with the UL listing of Power Ventilators for Smoke Control. The TBI offers flexibility compared to roof-mounted axial fans. With this fan, high-temperature exhaust can be ventilated horizontally through a wall opening, eliminating the need for roof penetrations, says the company. The belt-drive fan can operate at static pressures up to 4 in. wg and is available in six sizes from 24 to 54 in.
