LS® tubes are now available with 1-1/2-inch thick walls. This new thickness eliminates the need for double sleeving onsite to achieve the necessary wall thickness, to save time, labor, and money. The tubes are made in 3-foot lengths and comply with the 25/50 flame and smoke rating required for commercial installations. The unslit tubes are available with inner diameters of 7/8 – 4-1/2 inches. Insultube and K-Flex LS are brands of closed-cell, thermal elastomeric insulation that effectively resist moisture, mold, and mildew, making them ideal for chilled-water and refrigeration applications in high humidity areas, states the manufacturer.
