BPI Seeks Input for Spanish-English Industry Glossary

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Building Performance Institute (BPI) is partnering with Oregon Training Institute to create a free Spanish-English home performance glossary that will serve as a resource for contractors, trainers, educators, and other industry professionals.
To make the glossary as accurate and useful as possible, BPI is seeking input from Spanish-speaking professionals across the HVACR industry.
BPI is welcoming feedback on the accuracy of current frequently used translations, suggestions for alternative translations of terms commonly used in HVACR, and suggestions for improving clarity and consistency.
Input from industry professionals will help create a resource that benefits the entire home performance community, a BPI press release said.
HVACR professionals interested in reviewing the current glossary and sharing their feedback can send an email to marketing@bpi.org to receive a copy of the glossary draft.
