New Smart Thermostat is Designed for Mini-Splits

MADE FOR MINI-SPLITS: The Boldr Smart Controller includes a wall thermostat and a smartphone app for remote control.
HVAC controls company Boldr has introduced the Boldr Smart Controller, a thermostat designed for use with ductless mini-split systems.
Compatible with all brands and all ages of ductless mini-split systems and requiring no wiring, the Boldr Smart Controller replaces traditional plastic remotes with a modern controller that delivers real comfort, real savings, and real business value, a press release from the company said.
Mini-splits continue to grow in popularity across the U.S., and the Boldr Smart Controller brings intuitive app control, smart home automation, and energy visibility to homeowners who use it, while giving HVAC contractors a platform to commission the systems faster, reduce callbacks, and build lasting customer relationships, the press release said.
With the Boldr Smart Controller, homeowners gain intuitive app control, scheduling, and smart home automation, including compatibility with Apple Home, making it one of the few mini-split controllers in the U.S. market with direct Apple Home integration. Usage insights give homeowners greater visibility and control over their comfort and energy consumption.

For HVAC contractors, the Boldr Smart Controller is a business tool. Through the Boldr Pro platform, contractors gain access to the Boldr ProPack, a suite of tools to accelerate commissioning, reduce nuisance callouts, support maintenance plan growth, and keep contractors connected with their customers long after installation, the press release said.
The Boldr Smart Controller is available through Boldr’s independent manufacturers’ representative network, with representation in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
