April 8, 2026

LENEXA, Kansas — Systemair, a leading global supplier of high-quality ventilation, heating, and cooling products and systems, is launching the updated Topvex SR and Topvex TR air handling units in the United States and Canada, bringing a new level of efficiency, flexibility, and control to commercial ventilation. Designed for modern buildings that prioritize energy performance and healthy indoor environments, the new Topvex models give engineers, contractors, and building owners a practical way to meet today’s tightening sustainability requirements.

Topvex SR and TR deliver high-efficiency rotary heat recovery, a compact footprint, and factory-integrated controls, making them a strong match for offices, schools, mixed-use residential projects, and other commercial spaces. The units are engineered to simplify design and installation without sacrificing performance—an important advantage as projects push for faster timelines and stronger energy results.

“Building teams are under pressure to hit energy targets while managing cost and complexity,” said Robert Ferris, Product Manager – Commercial AHU for Systemair. “Topvex SR and Topvex TR AHUs were developed with that reality in mind. They pair trusted Systemair performance with the flexibility and serviceability customers need in the field.”

“Our goal with Topvex is to provide solutions that support both sustainability and comfort, helping building teams achieve energy targets without compromise,” said Steve Cuthbertson, President, Systemair North America.

The new Topvex line includes several enhancements to support North American requirements:

  • High-efficiency rotary heat exchangers deliver strong, sensible, and latent performance to support energy modeling and code compliance.
  • Compact, slip-through-door designs make placement easier in tight mechanical rooms or retrofit conditions.
  • Factory-integrated controls and remote monitoring through Systemair Access streamline commissioning and long-term operation.
  • Smart service access and prewired components help reduce installation hours and maintenance needs.
  • A broad airflow range makes the units suitable for a wide variety of building types and sizes.

Topvex SR and TR are built for teams that need dependable, efficient ventilation solutions backed by global engineering expertise. Their combination of performance, flexibility, and ease of installation gives engineers a reliable option for Basis of Design (BOD), while contractors and facility teams gain equipment that’s practical to install, operate, and maintain.
