The trap never requires priming or filling with water. Since no condensation is generated, the trap and the drain line will not freeze, nor will the trap fall victim to mold or bacterial infections. With horizontal orientation, it can accommodate any HVAC unit’s negative plenum pressure and allows condensate to flow up to 6 gallons per minute. Predesigned from Schedule 40 PVC with a large clean-out port, it eliminates errors caused by field-designed P-traps. The RLC-HF Series can accommodate PVC drainpipe sizes from 1¼ to 2 inches and up to 40 tons of refrigeration.
