Just as important as heat pumps, refrigerants, and ventilation systems are the components that support them. The 2026 AHR Expo had plenty of parts and accessories to check out, including safety switches and valves that prevent failures before they happen, smart technology added to traditionally passive components, and innovations that shorten install times to save on labor. Below are a few of the accessories aiming to support next-gen refrigerants, HVACR systems, and tomorrow’s codes.

With horizontal orientation, it can accommodate any HVAC unit’s negative plenum pressure and allows condensate to flow up to 6 gallons per minute. Predesigned from Schedule 40 PVC with a large clean-out port, it eliminates errors caused by field-designed P-traps. The RLC-HF Series can accommodate PVC drainpipe sizes from 1¼ to 2 inches and up to 40 tons of refrigeration.
