Description: ETCO Locking Ring Terminals feature four teeth that extend 0.023” from their surface with each tooth having a 40-degree angle that provides sharp wedges which bite into painted or plain metal surfaces to stay in place. Maintaining connection integrity during the manufacture and shipping of HVAC equipment, they prevent rotation, arcing, and electrical shorts. Ninety-two percent of the thickness of the ring itself, the teeth on ETCO Locking Ring Terminals penetrate plain or painted metal surfaces to withstand vibration and prevent twisting and rotation which can cause short circuits. These locking ring terminals attach to 12-22 gauge wire using an F-crimp for a more secure connection than conventional flag ears.
