ALBANY, N.Y. — Funding and technical experts are available to help energy managers and building owners design and plan the transition to highly efficient, resilient heating and cooling systems, according to the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
NYSERDA’s Large-Scale Thermal program (PON 5614) provides up to $750,000 for the design of a large-scale thermal system for large buildings and campuses.
Large-scale thermal systems may include geothermal, heat recovery, thermal energy networks, and thermal storage, as well as other approaches to reduce energy, decarbonize, and improve heating and cooling for large buildings and campuses.
Visit the Large-Scale Thermal program page for details on incentive levels and proposal requirements. Proposals are due by 3 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, July 31.
