Alabama Grandmother Surprised With A/C Giveaway
MOBILE, Ala. — Hansen Super Techs, which provides residential HVAC services in parts of Alabama and Mississippi, recently announced the winner of its Mother's Day A/C Giveaway: Janet Massey, a dedicated mother and grandmother from Wilmer, Alabama.
Massey, who lives with her husband, has been without central air conditioning for a decade. Hansen Super Techs surprised her with a brand-new unit with an estimated value of up to $10,000, free of charge. Hansen Super Techs representatives were on hand to surprise her with the unit as well as install it for free in time for Mother’s Day.
Massey was nominated by her son, Charlie Massey.
“My mom deserves a new air conditioner because she has worked all her life. ... She has put us through private school and college sacrificing everything,” Charlie Massey said in a press release from Hansen.
The giveaway highlights Hansen Super Techs' commitment to supporting the community and recognizing the hard work and sacrifices of mothers like Janet Massey, the press release said.
