HOUSTON — RectorSeal Corp., a manufacturer of HVACR and plumbing tools and accessories, has acquired Aspen Manufacturing, which makes HVAC equipment.
Founded in 1975 and based in Humble, Texas, Aspen offers a range of HVAC products, including residential and light commercial evaporator coils, coils and blowers for manufactured homes, and air handlers.
Aspen manufactures products under the Aspen, Aspen Pro, and AirMark brands and is a contract manufacturer for several HVAC OEMs. All Aspen products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the U.S.
“This acquisition continues expanding our footprint of HVAC products,” said Jeff Underwood, president of RectorSeal, in a press release. “With Aspen’s industry-leading lineup of third-party coils and air handlers, we can better support our distributors and contractors and strengthen our market leadership in a new product category. Moreover, I have had the chance to know Jason Ludeke and the team at Aspen for over a decade and am excited to work with them as colleagues.”
“Aligning with the RectorSeal organization allows our company to provide additional support and products to our customers,” said Ludeke, CEO of Aspen. “Joining such an employee-centric culture will also benefit our Aspen team members.”
Since 1937, RectorSeal has offered products that have established a loyal following among contractors due to differentiated and proven product performance, the press release said. RectorSeal is part of the Contractor Solutions segment of CSW Industrials Inc.
