Nest Co-Founder Joins Board at Home Tech Firm Quilt

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Matt Rogers, the co-founder and CEO of Mill, the co-founder of Nest, and the founder of Incite, has joined the board of directors at the smart home technology company Quilt.
Rogers is widely respected for his work behind the creation of the Nest smart thermostat, and for accelerating growth for mission-driven organizations, a press release from Quilt said. His expertise in product development, business scaling, and partnership building will be instrumental in driving Quilt’s continued growth and innovation, the press release said.
Quilt has earned Energy Star recognition for the efficiency of its two-zone heat pump. The company is poised to roll out industry-defining features and will expand its smart heat pump to markets across the country in 2025, the press release said.
Rogers’ appointment underscores the growing mainstream adoption of smart home technology, the press release said.
