What does it mean to be a legend?
Think of people we call legendary, and you’ll probably picture someone notorious, iconic, famous — especially in a particular field. Michael Jordan. Thomas Edison. Alfred Hitchcock. Three names synonymous with having a lasting impact and forever changing basketball, modern life, and the movies.
Legends exist here in the HVAC industry, too. We just need your help finding them.
An HVAC legend is someone who has made a mark on the industry and helped pave a path for those to come. Whether they’re an innovator, a trendsetter, a mentor, or all of the above, one thing’s for sure: They deserve recognition.
That’s why we want you to take the time to nominate an industry member who screams “legend” to you. Nominate someone who has made a difference to your career, or is known for something specific in the industry — someone who stands out on their own, or who has changed the industry for the better. Help us put recognition on these types of deserving people that allow HVAC to maintain its stake in the world.
Nominations are open until April 30, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Once all the nominations have been submitted, ACHR NEWS editors will choose the finalists for our audience to vote on in May. A combination of editor and audience votes will determine who the HVAC All-Star Award winners, highlighted in our July issue, will be.
