Homeowners want to see their contractors listing prices on their website, according to a survey conducted by The ACHR NEWS in conjunction with myCLEARopinion. But, also according to that survey, a strong number of contractors aren’t doing that. Even though 70% of homeowners surveyed said they were more likely to call an HVAC company/contractor who is transparent on pricing. In fact, only 31% of contractors surveyed said they are listing prices online. Though it’s on the lower side, it is an 11% increase from last years data. And the cause? According to Billy Stevens speculated a tougher economy has motivated contractors to do what the market was telling them to do: list prices online.
