A.O. Smith Corp. (Milwaukee) marked its 150th anniversary.
Carrier (Indianapolis) successfully completed field trials and laboratory testing in the U.S. Department Energy’s Cold Climate Heat Pump Challenge for residential applications.
The Quilt Systems Inc. (Redwood City, Calif.) heat pump was given a SEER2 rating of 25 and an HSPF2 rating of 12 by AHRI (Arlington, Va.).
